As a full-service financial institution, Coastland FCU provides a number of products and services to make your life easier. From temporary checks to international wire transfers, Coastland has got you covered. Our services include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Automated Teller Machine (ATM) surcharge-free at Coastland FCU as well as surcharge-free access to any ATM on the Co-Op Network
- American Express Traveler's Cheques - Available in a variety of denominations at a cost of 1% per $100 in checks.
- American Express Gift Cheques - A great way to give cash as a gift and are sold individually in denominations of $25, $50, and $100 at a cost of $2.50 per check
- Counter Checks - If you've run out of your regular checks before your reordered checks arrive, we can supply you with 4 temporary checks for a fee of $1.
- Official / Certified Checks - Since the money is actually withdrawn from the member's account at the time the check is prepared, the payee is guaranteed to receive those funds. The cost is $5.
- MoneyGram Money Orders - Available in any amount up to $1,000.
- VISA Gift Cards - Available in the Metairie, Luling, and Houston branches. Amounts ranging from $10 to $500.
- Wire Transfers - A convenient way to electronically transfer funds to other financial institutions. Domestic wires are $12 and are generally process by the next business day. International wires are $40 and usually take a few more days, depending on the destination. Money from your account can also be sent via Western Union.
- Night Drop - You can make deposits and loan payments 24 hours a day at our Metairie and Luling branches. Deposits made at the night drop after 7:30 am Central time on any normal business day will be posted the next business day.
